Hero's

Tonight it feels so good to be an American. I can almost hear the song God Bless the USA echoing in my head as I speak. After only a few days of searching for the suspects that committed the heinous act of the Boston Marathon bombing, the searching finally comes to an end. The wonderful Law enforcement of this country are our hero's tonight and forever more. One suspect dead, and the other finally captured a short time ago. I will not mention the names of these  criminals, and I will not post their pictures...as I do not want to waste my spirit on such evil anymore. I will instead  pray for mankind and all the human beings effected by such a tragedy. May we never take anyone for granted, may we never fight over things of less importance and may we never forget the beings that were lost this week. Life is so short, let us use our life energy for good. Let us use this moment to teach the importance of working together....

Tears for the victims of Gun violence.

It is a sad day indeed. Although I am not surprised, I cannot help but  feel sad over the  bad decision made today by our government, especially a few days after some major violence in this country. Now, I am not one for talking politics too much, because it creates such heated debates, but one particular topic is  rather important to me. Gun Control. Our government, decided today not let a law pass that would require back ground checks  for all gun purchases. I don't get it, how can anyone not support that?  With all the sickos in the world,  isn't it common sense to check people before allowing them to buy something that could kill? It seems to be common sense to me. Now I do understand that criminals don't   get background checks when they steal their weapons, but it is common sense to check as many people as we can to at least keep some of those away from the wrong people. If we can save a few families from loosing loved ones isn't it worth it? Just because criminals don't obey the laws doesn't mean we don't need  laws anyways. SO many people are more concerned with their own rights to own a gun that they don't understand what gun control actually is.

When I hear the words gun control I think of, making better laws, better control to handle such weapons, better safety measures for the public...I hear no  words of banishment. When gun supporters hear those words, they hear fear, they hear banishment for all weapons. They basically believe that the government is out to take all their guns away. Now I will admit,  I am not a fan of guns by any means. I  will never understand the need to own one because I don't think they do much good for normal citizens to have them. I am so sick of the argument that guns  don't kill, people do. Yes partly that is true, but allowing guns in the hands of people that kill is outrageous.  I am not against people having them for certain purposes...hunting for  food, safety...etc...AND generally speaking I  pretty much only like law enforcement, military to have them....but I am willing to admit some guns are needed in the world; although I will stand firm in my beliefs that NO ONE needs military type guns other than law enforcement and military. This country  so needs to  check everyone  before giving such weapons.  I am sorry but not everyone should be able to get one. We need better laws, we need to make it as hard as possible to get one. To have something that kills so easily should not be an  easy item to get.  If you have nothing to hide, then you don't  need to worry about being checked now do you? Doesn't the victims of sandy hook mean anything? Doesn't the endless amount of victims each day matter? Do you not even care? Has your sense of what is right and wrong been destroyed? Have the rights of human life been over taken by the need to own things? How many people have to die before realizing we have a problem. When will people  look past their personal rights and do what's right as a human being? Yes gun owners, your guns do effect everyone. If someone  manages to steal your guns and then use it on our children, then you too are at fault....because you help put it there. I know, crazy thought isn't it, but it is something really to think about. The fears that our neighbors carry weapons is a real fear because we do not truly know if that person is responsible enough with their  weapons. I know we cant take every dangerous thing away that may hurt us, but we can start with the obvious. We can do back ground checks to start.  It won't solve  everything, but its a start. We have to start somewhere....please good Lord, let us take real action on these weapons.

We  still need much better communication and better laws  about such important topics. We cannot let this  conversation die any time soon.  Something has to change and I hope our government  will put their differences aside and do something. Not just talk, but actually do something. But again, I fear because of this crazy world of self importance, we are far away from ever making it a truly peaceful place. Human Life is always more important than anything else...we must never forget that. We need to teach  how to Love through problems, not use violence.

Ok, done....it helps just to vent it out....

Blessings to all,
May the world find a little more peace tomorrow

My future purchases....

Ok, on the lighter side tonight, I discovered some furniture that I really want to get some day. LOL. No, I mean it.....I do seriously need a new couch.  How cool would it be to show off my team spirit with these Giants furniture? Sorry, no Dodger fans allowed on it. HA! Ok, so its a little pricy, but hey, if I save enough for it, then maybe I can treat myself to it. What can I say, I am a little weird.  You only live once right? So  to my future purchases, I will be seeing ya soon...LOL Crazy.....but oh so freakin cool.

April 15th!

April 15. That day will forever remain infamous in the history books.  It was the day that Lincoln died, it was the day the Titanic sunk, and now it is the day that Boston Bombings took place. Most people  normally thought of this day as Tax day, but I  prefer to think of April 15 as a day that keeps making history.

Yesterday was horrible, simply horrible. It  is one of the first major attacks since 9/11.  It may not have done as much damage as 9/11 had done, but the fact  that even one person got hurt makes it just as important. I just cannot wrap my brain around how people can be so evil. Frankly, I am tired of trying to understand  how a person can kill an 8 year old boy and  for them to still go on living normally without such guilt. Its  insane. How can a person, or people,  do something to hurt  so many innocent people? Why is it that in the year 2013 we are still living among those that want to bring our freedoms down? To make us afraid,,,,? Why is it that human beings can do that to other human beings? So many questions, and I know I will never really get  true answers for these questions, but it is something that unfortunately  keeps getting asked over and over again as violence spreads more and more in my life time. What is going to be left of our world when my kids grow up? I think that question scares me the most. I am afraid what will be left for them and what they will have to go through. Are we going to live in a world where we can do nothing, carry nothing, say nothing? Are we becoming a another 3rd world country where violence everyday is the norm? Slowly but surly, its happening  around us. Other countries are already experiencing this. Yet, we go on our lives as if that is OK. I want to hope and pray this changes, for my kids, for your kids. But I do fear as a society that we do bring a lot of violence on our selves. We have learned to accept that violence is a part of life.  All you have to do is look at the movies, TV shows, games, we make and you will understand how much we keep violence around us. There are so many violent films out there that people enjoy watching, including those of evil mindedness. I don't understand how people can watch a movie , see someone get shot with a gun to the head, or blown up by a bomb and still  be able to enjoy the movie. Sure, its all fake, but still....violence is violence. Are you really OK watching someone pretending to die ?  I guess what I am saying is that  society is so use to  violence now that it is no wonder that  some people want to act out these actions. Hollywood glorifies it. You mix violence with people that don't have empathy and you have the makings for something bad. That is the world we live in now and society has accepted that....Sadly, the Boston Bombings will probably not be the last horrific attack we see in our life time.....there is just way too many people that just don't care if they hurt others....

In fact I see it everyday how little  some people care what happens to others. Take a look at face book and twitter and you will see it too. Little empathy and full of self promoting chatter. Some people seem to care more about what happens to them then others...The world today is about what happens to "me and what I am doing". We have to advertise what we had for supper or how we colored our hair. We post things like I don't care what you think of me....we post things like so and so doesn't deserve my time...We post bad things about our president because of  our own personal beliefs, we post things like look where I went, we post things like look at what I bought. It is all about how  "I "  see things... Its all sad to me because  much of it is so unimportant and  some filled with little respect. I should know, I have done this myself. No one is more important than anyone else. We are one. We are equal. We need to change the way we talk to people and what we  actually say.....It all starts with how we treat one another. Strangers or not, everyone deserves respect and every one deserves a right to an opinion. But it is what we say that can make an impact on another being. We may have the rights for freedom of speech, but sometimes I wonder if exercising that right is  always a good thing...You know the old saying that It doesn't matter what anyone thinks? Well, I so hate that saying...It should matter. WE should care how our neighbors, family, friends, co worker thinks and....we should practice being considerate to those around us. Including strangers. I don't know, I just think if we spent more time trying to understand people rather than creating people that don't care....some of the violence would fade away...

But...

How many people have to get hurt, or die before our government, our society  understands that we need to do something?  Something different. Violence isn't about being a democrat, or a republican. Its a moral issue. It is about doing what's right as a human being.  There is no reason why our politicians, cant agree on ways to fix this problem. There's no reason why WE as citizens cant do something. Sure, there is  never going to be a way to totally stamp out evil, but I tell you, there's a heck a lot more we can do. More that we are not doing.

Anyway, again I am the rambler. These events  that hit us sometimes makes me wonder how we got to where we are today....but ya know, if anything good comes from all this, it will be  one that makes us all stronger.

GODSPEED AND GOD BLESS TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY....

The Rings!

Well, its official...The boys got their rings yesterday. So very proud of my team and what they have accomplished the last few years. What an amazing organization San Francisco has. The only better thing that could have happened yesterday  was  if they could have pulled out a win. Sadly they got spanked yesterday by the dam Cardinals. Not sure if they were distracted by the  glare on the rings or  if the cardinals were aiming at payback. Maybe both. Oh well, its a long season and I know my boys will do well again this year....Lets go Giants. Lets show the world what San Fran is really made of....
