A new perspective
Oh, glorious night time stars, and the ever so illuminating moon. How even through a picture can bring some tranquility and peace to this ever so busy world. One thing I love about other peoples art is that I really get to see another person's point of view and what they think beauty is. I believe it is when you take the time to see some one Else's vision, some one Else's perspective, that you really learn about yourself and are able to allow new thoughts and ideas into your own way of thinking. SO many people have closed their own thoughts to the possibility of new things, new dreams, and new feelings, that their life never adventures beyond the 4 walls they put them selves in. How sad is that to limit ones own life?
Secret of Life by James Taylor
The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time
Any fool can do it
There aint nothing to it
Nobody knows how we got to The top of the hill
But since were on our way down
We might as well enjoy the ride
The secret of love is in opening up your heart
Its okay to feel afraid
But don't let that stand in your way
cause anyone knows that love is the only road
And since were only here for a while
Might as well show some style
Give us a smile
Isn't it a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
Its just a lovely ride
Now the thing about time is that time Isn't really real
Its just your point of view
How does it feel for you
Einstein said he could never understand it all
Planets spinning through space
The smile upon your face
Welcome to the human race
Some kind of lovely ride
Ill be sliding down I'll ll be gliding down
Try not to try too hard
Its just a lovely ride
Isn't it a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
Its just a lovely ride
Now the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time

Dreaming of a White Christmas
Is it too early to dream of Christmas? I know when we are kids our idea of Christmas was whats under the tree and the anticipation of Santa..... but as an adult, just seeing the beauty that comes from this time of year is so moving. Sadly I live in a place that looks nothing near what this picture does. I so yearn for a white Christmas such as this......just a simply gorgeous fantasy to keep my mind dreaming. I can imagine it now..... winter walks with my love, hot coco, Christmas carols through out the neighbor hood....what ever happened to just a simpler holiday focused on the love and spirit???I think this world needs to slow down and remember what it is REALLY about....

Simple pleasures part two
This place would be heaven. Just love how reflections off of still waters can make a whole scene come to life.

Hope you all had a great night and did something special for yourself this evening.Remember YOU are important in this world! You may not realize it but just a simple hello to a friend or a smile to some one may make a difference.
Nothing would be sweeter than to end the day by a beautiful lake and watch the sun drift away so peacefully.May tomorrow be filled with even more blessings for you all.

serene
How great it would be to live here? To go back to a simple way of living and escape the chaos of the bigger cities.
Something so magical and relaxing about this painting. I have always been fascinated about paintings of moonlight and water....it just brings calmness to my inner self.
I could imagine sitting in that little canoe with my sweetie sipping on some hot co co and just
reminisce all the joys of our lives. It is memories like those that would make life have meaning.
I can almost here the sound of James Taylor and his soft guitar playing in the background....

The Safe Place
I have often found myself timid of posting pictures of people in the nude simply because of a fear of the reaction I would get from some. I already get enough "sleezy" people trying to contact me, just wasn't wanting to add fuel to the fire. But there is nothing shameful at all in the human body because it is the most natural part of life. It is the imperfections we have with our bodies that tell us who we are. I like this picture because at this moment, the safest place for me is within my own self. Some how this woman who has bared herself seems a little afraid in revealing her own beauty. I can deeply relate to that theory myself. it is really hard at times to really open your self up.

Groban and God Bless America
Well, it is finally up. No, not THAT. I meant that Josh Groban guy site is back up. Hurray. I just got done re watching God Bless America from Josh at the All Star Game. Goose bumps all the way. It should be a crime for a man to make a woman have goose bumps just through singing.....It was simply breath taking..... I know every one talked about when Whitney performed, or shall I say lip sunc her National Anthem years ago..... every one raved... How can lip syncing be so wonderful? Cheating if ya ask me. But Josh's performance is so wonderful, it is hard to believe this man has this voice. They don't call him "THE VOICE" for nothing. This performance beats any one else if you ask me. But considering I am a Grobanite, doubt any one would take me seriously. Listen, and I dare ya not to enjoy it. If you don't get moved, then your soul is cold.....How can you NOT be a fan of his? He is so unlike every one else....his own style. Amen to being so unique.

Snow whites cottage
I love this latest painting of Thomas Kincaid's......something magical in seeing Snow White taking a stroll to a little cottage nestled in the deep woods.....waiting for her prince to come.....OR maybe she is meeting her prince there! It is such a lovely dream like image and keeps my imagination flowing.....

Summer Evening
Hello Summer Evening, Hello Mother Earth. In my head I can imagine all the beauty there is still left to be seen, but for now, the thoughts of you are tucked in my dreams. I know someday I will see more of you, but my heart still holds on to your colors and the secrets of life that you hold.
Its quite a lovely summer evening and I am feeling a bit drained from the long day. Getting up at 4am for work does not help ones energy level. Have you ever wondered what is on TV at that hour on a Sunday? Not much, mostly infomercials and religious broad castings. But before I went to work this morning watched a beautiful channel that showed glorious scenes of our planet along with a few inspirational words from the Bible. It really was quite a peaceful start to my day. Was a lovely reminder of our life's precious Gifts.
I don't have a lot to say. I am sitting here finishing up my Hazelnut hot chocolate and getting ready to call it a night. I am a little sad this evening as my heart aches for my sweetie. It is another reason I am calling it a night early, it is just so hard to be awake knowing I am so far from him. I hope the fates will allow us to be together soon.
I just want to say before I wonder off to sleepy land, that I hope you all find your peace, happiness , and your heart full of love on this beautiful summer evening. Take time to really enjoy the beauty of your life and all that's in it. Especially the people that inspire the best of you. God Bless you all!
